- Availability: Originating in Morocco in the late 20th century, the variety is now grown worldwide, offering general year-round availability. In the Northern Hemisphere, they are typically in season from January through June.
- Uses: They are excellent for fresh snacking, juicing, and use in salads, desserts, and various sweet or savory dishes.Â
- Tree Size: The Afourer mandarin tree is compact to moderate in size, typically reaching 2.5 to 3 meters in height.
- Growing Conditions: It thrives in warm, sunny climates with well-drained soil and requires regular watering during dry seasons.
